Construction Headhunters recruits equipment, fleet, and service professionals for general contractors, heavy civil contractors, specialty contractors, and construction equipment organizations with direct-hire positions across the United States.

Roles We Recruit

Equipment and service roles vary by company type, fleet composition, and whether the operation is contractor-side, dealer-side, or fabrication-focused. These are the positions we recruit most often.

Fleet Manager

Oversees the truck, vehicle, and light-equipment fleet. Manages DOT compliance, driver qualifications, maintenance programs, and vehicle lifecycle decisions.

Equipment Superintendent

Field-based position responsible for equipment deployment, operator coordination, and equipment readiness on active jobsites. Acts as the operational link between the equipment department and project teams.

Shop Manager

Manages the equipment maintenance shop, overseeing mechanics, parts inventory, repair schedules, and vendor relationships. Responsible for turnaround time and shop cost performance.

Service Manager

Leads field service operations, dispatching technicians, managing service work orders, and maintaining customer or internal client relationships in service contractor or equipment dealer environments.

Service Operations Manager

Manages the end-to-end service division, coordinating dispatchers, technicians, and administrative staff. Owns service revenue targets, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.

Maintenance Manager

Develops and oversees preventive maintenance programs for facilities or fleet. Manages maintenance staff, external vendors, and compliance with applicable safety and regulatory standards.

Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Performs diagnostics, repair, and preventive maintenance on heavy construction equipment, including crawlers, excavators, cranes, dozers, and related machinery. Operates in shop or field settings.
