Project Engineer - Structural Steel Erection (NYC)

Established steel erection company in the New York metro area, around for 30 years, is adding a Project Engineer. They erect complex steel on high-rises, stadiums, airport terminals, hospitals and schools across the Tri-State area.
Pay: $75K to $130K base depending on experience.
Project Engineer
- Has worked on structural steel erection projects. This is the must-have.
- Project Engineer or Senior Engineer experience at a steel erector, fabricator, or on the steel package at a GC/CM.
- Reviewing shop drawings, RFIs, and submittals.
- Tracking fabrication progress, field work, and project schedules.
- Coordinating between designers, fabricators, and field teams.
- Identifying and resolving technical and construction issues.
- Monitoring project costs, timelines, and constructability.
- Supporting project planning and execution from start to finish.
